Where are you from?

I am from Maui! I was born and raised here!

Who took you surfing the first time?
My dad taught me to surf when I was super little, probably around four years old! I had my own soft top board and I started to learn, and do my first contests. He has been my mentor ever since, taking me out to different spots as my level increased.
What brought you to Maui?
I was born here, and I am super grateful that my parents were able to fulfil their dream of living on Maui. I am so blessed to be able to call Maui home.
What do you like to do when you aren’t surfing?
When I am not surfing, I like to enjoy my time at the beach, diving for shells, reading, and hanging out with my friends, and lunch picnics. I am also a wing foiler, so when there are no waves, I opt for a wing foil session, and when I’m not at the beach I like to paint and draw.

Favorite after surf snack/meal?
My favorite after-surf snack is a musubi, or a poke bowl with an Arizona iced tea!

Where do you surf when you aren’t working?
I truly surf all around the island, but the more common spots for me are Honolua bay, and Lahaina harbor. Those spots are staples for me, and where I have learned to surf in all conditions.
