Surf Instructor
Regan is from Huntington Beach, CA. Also known as Surf City USA due to having waves 365 days a year!
She taught herself how to surf by wiping out and rolling around in the waves on the Southside of Huntington Beach pier when she was only 9 years old. Her first open face wave was accompanied by a dolphin surfing on either side! It was a 10-years-in-the-making love story of giving it her best in the summers on the rare occasion that her parents could take her to the beach. Once she graduated high school, she was able to drive to the beach to surf every day, and finally started to make real progress.
Regan replied to a post by Maui Surfer Girls to be a visiting surf instructor for teen & women’s camps, then decided to spend her winters on Maui since her business back home shuts down during winter. When she is not teaching surfing, Regan is enjoying chasing other ocean adventures like surfing Ho’okipa, free diving for sharks, rock running, prone & outrigger endurance paddling! Out of the water, she like to play ukulele, make up dad jokes, take naps, and watch Surf’s Up on repeat.
