January 2026

Event: Lōkahi: Benefit concert featuring Lukas Nelson & Friends
Date: Saturday, January 10, 2026
Details: Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lukas Nelson will headline Lōkahi: A Celebration of Mauiwith Patrick Simmons, Stephen Wilson, Jr., Lily Meola, Patrick Simmons, Jr., the Maui Country Band, plus family & friends, and with a very special appearance by Paul Simon for a benefit concert to support Housing for Healthcare, an initiative addressing the island’s urgent shortage of medical professionals.

Event: Winter Women’s Surf Camp 2026
Date: January 18-24

Details: Starting in Wailea and running along the oceanfront to outside Launiupoko Beach Park, Also includes a Half Marathon, 5k & Cookie Run.

Event: Hawaiian Islands Land Trust “Buy Back the Beach” 2026
Date: Saturday, January 24
Location: Old Lahaina Luau
Details: This event brings together Hawai‘i’s top conservation advocates for an island-style pā‘ina under the Maui stars at the famous Old Lāhainā Lū‘au. Guests will be treated to ‘ono lū‘au fare, complimentary cocktails, live and silent auctions and live entertainment. This benefit provides much-needed operational support to ensure the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust continues its efforts to protect the lands that sustain us. Tickets now on sale!

Event: World Whale Day 2026 with Pacific Whale Foundation
Date: February 9 – 15
Details: Celebrate the 45th anniversary of Pacific Whale Foundation and the return of World Whale Day with a week of events across Maui. Event: Maui Songwriters Festival 2026
Date: February 10-15
Details: Experience the ultimate musical getaway with the music industry’s top singer-songwriters, producers, and composers from Nashville as they perform their Award-Winning songs in beautiful Kapalua, Maui.

Event: Lahaina Food & Wine Festival 2026
Date: Feb. 18-22
Details: Bringing together celebrated chefs, world-class wines, and unforgettable dining experiences in West Maui. Event: Art Affair 2026
Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
Location: Hui No’eau’s historic Kalaunui Estate
Details: This event is one of the highlights of the year!Join Hui No‘eau for an elegant evening centered around the iconic Hui reflection pond, featuring gourmet cuisine by Chef Nicole Scharer and live music by Brown Chicken Brown Cow Stringband with duo opening sets by Orion & Xander as well as Justin & Matt. Enjoy our live and silent auctions in support of community visual arts education in Maui County! Flipping Picasso’s Blue Period on its head, explore the beauty of blue as a symbol of renewal, creativity, and possibility! Guests are encouraged to don their many shades of blue and/or Picasso-inspired attire. Let’s paint the night blue and make it one to remember! This is a 21+ event.
For more than 20 years, Hui No‘eau’s Art Affair signature annual fundraiser has brought the community together to support year-round arts education programs, exhibitions, free arts outreach for underserved children, community events, and more. Funds raised through table sponsorships, live and silent auctions, and Raise the Paddle help inspire creativity and increase access to the arts for all across Maui County.

Event: Imua Ball
Date: April 4

Event: Maui Marathon 2026
Date: April 26
Details: The 56th Annual Maui Marathon is returning to West Maui with a renewed commitment to the local community. As part of this effort, the Maui Marathon Health & Fitness Expo will take place at the Westin on Friday and Saturday April 24-25, offering local businesses, health and wellness brands, and fitness organizations an opportunity to connect with thousands of runners and attendees.

Event: Maui Matsuri Festival
Date: May 9 & 23
Details: The 24th annual Maui Matsuri Festival will present two distinct events: the Children’s Festival on May 9th and the Japanese Festival on May 23rd. The Children’s Festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature complimentary multicultural performances, educational crafts for children, interactive activities, and STEMworks robotics sessions designed to promote collaborative learning within families.

Event: Menehune Mayhem 2026, Junior Surfing Competition
Date: Dates TBD
Location: Hookipa Beach Park
Details: The Menehune Mayhem is a free two day surf contest for Maui’s youth ages 15 years old and younger. Additional activities to take part in at the event include creative exploration through art, music, and cultural activities along with educational centers for kids to learn the importance of being environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Event: Seabury Hall Craft Fair 2026
Date: Saturday, May 9
The school’s signature fundraising event, the craft fair is definitely an event to plan a trip to Maui around! Featuring over 80 Artists and Crafters, Silent Auction, Entertainment, tons of delicious food and deserts, Games & Pony Rides and more! Always the day before Mother’s Day. Visitor Tip: It will be sunny, rainy, hot and chilly. It’s upcountry Maui. Dress in layers, bring sunscreen, a hat and a rain jacket!

Event: Maui Ag Fest & 4-H Livestock Fair 2026
Date: May 30, 2026
Location: War Memorial in Wailuku
Details: This popular event helps to build community and raise awareness of the importance of agriculture in island life. Event: Kamehameha Day Parade & Hoolaulea
Date: June 20
Details: Na Kamehameha Hoolaulea runs 9am- 5pm at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center and features hula, Hawaiian music, food, keiki activities, exhibits and Maui made crafters and artisans. Pau Parade begins at 9:45am along Ka’ahumanu Ave. in Central Maui.

Event: Kapalua Wine & Food Festival 2026
Date: June 25-28
Location: Kapalua Resort
Details: The 45th annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival will be a celebration for the ages! As the oldest and most beloved food and wine festival in the U.S., the Kapalua Wine & Food Festival brings together the world’s top vintners, renowned celebrity chefs, as well as Hawaii’s favorite restaurants and local vendors to create magic once again at Kapalua Resort.

Event: 4th of July Makawao Stampede & Oskie Rice Memorial Rodeo

Location: Makawao
Details: The 4th of July Makawao Stampede and the Oskie Rice Memorial Rodeo are upcountry Maui’s most anticipated annual events that celebrate paniolo culture, neighbor ranches, cowboys, cowgirls, and community building. This year’s events will feature almost 300 competitors from across Hawai’i and around the country. Their signature rodeos are three-day experiences, featuring family-friendly activities, ono food, and special performances. The celebrations begin with the 4th of July Makawao Stampede Town Parade on Saturday, June 27th, a Chili Challenge, and the Makawao Stampede Block Party.

Event: Teen Girls’ Surf Camp
Dates: June 20 – 26 (SOLD OUT) and June 27 – July 3 (SOLD OUT)
Details: Our teen camp is dedicated to empowering teenage girls through Maui’s water sports and our mentorship program. The all-inclusive camp includes oceanfront accommodations, professional surf coaching, and a wide range of island adventures including boat rides, snorkeling and waterfall hikes. Open to girls 13-17.

Event: Paddle Imua 2026 (Benefit Race for Camp Imua)
Date: July 12
Details: Paddle Imua is an annual paddle race supporting Camp Imua, a recreational camp experience for children in Maui County with special needs. Paddle Imua brings the ocean sports community together to embrace our innate connection to the sea and celebrate the lives of our local children.

Event: Maui Calls 2026
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Location: Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Kahului
Details:This year marks the 28^th anniversary of the gala fundraising event for the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The evening will feature award-winning wines from across the country, delicious culinary creations from our own world-renowned Maui chefs, and exclusive and unique auction items.

Maui Calls is the MACC’s signature gala fundraiser. The themes of the annual benefit event harken back to the nostalgic era of Hawai’i’s past. A fresh flower lei greeting and music serenade start you off on an evening where you can mix and mingle with family, friends and colleagues, taste delectable pūpū created by chefs from stellar Maui restaurants, and sample wines from boutique vintners. The silent and live auctions offer the chance to bid on fabulous “Uniquely Maui” items like one-of-a-kind Maui adventures, as well as “Uniquely MACC” items like musical instruments autographed by celebrities who have been on our stages. It’s a once-a-year evening to remember always.

Made in Maui County Festival at Maui Arts & Cultural Center
Date: November 6-7, 2026
Details: Made In Maui County Festival was created to stimulate the island’s economy by boosting sales and awareness of locally made products. It is a showcase of the hard work and creativity in the local community, and a great place to support local creators while getting a jump start on holiday shopping.

Event: Maui Jim Invitational Basketball Championship 2026
Date: November 23-25, 2026
Location: Lahaina Civic Center
Details: The eight teams competing in the 2026 Maui Invitational are Arizona, BYU, Clemson, Colorado State, Ole Miss, Providence, VCU, and Washington.
