Mahalo Teen Camp Sponsors!
A huge Mahalo to our 2019 Teen Camp Sponsors for providing goodies for our welcome bags! We are so grateful for the generous donations, as we were able to not only provide awesome welcome bags for all of our campers, but also allow two campers from Maui to attend camp on a full scholarship!

Meet all of our sponsors here!

prAna
prAna has been a generous sponsor of our women’s & teen camps for the past several years, and we are honored to have Kelly Potts, a prAna ambassador, as one of our Lead Surf Instructors at camp. This year, our teen campers received prAna headbands, hats and tote bags!
More about prAna: “We strive to make clothes that help you thrive in any environment and embody your adventurous spirit, so you can focus on what really matters. Whether you’re commuting to work or wandering the globe, rest assured we’ve been there and have used those moments to design a better product.”

Piper Wai
We were so excited to work with Piper Wai this summer! Even being in and out of the water, and with Maui’s cooling trade winds, we all tend to get a bit stinky. Piper Wai provided full size sticks of their natural deodorant to each of our campers AND staff members! We loved having this natural product for our bodies, and being this close to the ocean makes us even happier to be using clean products!
More about Piper Wai: “PiperWai is a natural deodorant made without harmful ingredients like parabens, aluminum, and synthetic fragrances. This charcoal deodorant, with its crème texture, is 100% natural and forms an invisible, absorbent, pH-balanced shield on your underarms that neutralizes odor and protects your clothes from perspiration. And it’s perfect for use on sensitive skin.”

OHI Bars
Anyone who has been around active teenage girls know they need to eat… all the time!!! Camp Olowalu’s new drink and snack fridge was the perfect place for us to store our Ohi superfood bars, so the girls would be able to come and grab a healthy snack whenever they needed! We were treated to Peanut Butter, Double Chocolate and Coconut Macadamia Nut bars at each camp!
More about Ohi Bars: “The OHi Superfood Bar is a nutrient dense, long lasting energy blend rich in plant fats and protein and packed with nourishing superfood ingredients. They are made with the highest quality whole food ingredients that are non-GMO, gluten, grain, dairy and soy free.
We simply put in the best and leave out the rest! No gums, fillers, synthetic vitamins or additives. No artificial anything.”

Liquid I.V.
Staying hydrated while being active during the summer on Maui can be a difficult task, and Liquid I.V. was the perfect hydration partner for our camp! We kept these handy packets next to our water and drink station so the girls were able to add them to their water if they needed a little extra flavor and a lot of extra hydration!
More about Liquid I.V.: “Liquid I.V. is a health-science nutrition and wellness company based out of El Segundo, Calif., created to fuel life’s adventures. Their line of drink mixes are great tasting, non-GMO, made in the U.S.A., and contain no artificial ingredients. Liquid I.V. utilizes Cellular Transport Technology (CTT™) to deliver hydration and other key nutrients rapidly into the bloodstream – helping consumers feel better, faster. Liquid I.V. can be found in more than 20,000 doors across the country including Costco, Whole Foods Market, Amazon, and many more.”

Each of our campers were able to take home a copy of this inspirational book by Tiffany Manchester!
More about Surfer Girls Kick Ass: ” Zoe Smith is flailing in her career as a professional surfer, as well as in her relationship with Derek. She needs to make a change. But what?
Stuck in a funk, she heads home to Australia, uncertain of her future. Will the end of her relationship also signify the end of her career?

She finds herself on a magical journey out of the darkness and into the light, in surfing and in life.”

Yellow Berry
We’ve been inspired by the mission of Yellow Berry since we found them online a few years ago! We were so excited to finally collaborate with them this summer, and they were kind enough to send us stickers and hair scrunchies for each of our campers! We’re always looking for other companies dedicated to empowering tweens and teens, and helping them look and feel their best!
More about Yellow Berry: “Yellowberry’s story is both personal and authentic. We are known for making bras for tweens that has sparked a movement for girls everywhere, back in 2014. Megan Grassell was just 17 with a vision to create a bra for her younger sister that was comfortable, provided her the coverage she needed and wasn’t sexy (which she didn’t need!) From that one seed of an idea, Megan revolutionized the undergarment industry for girls and tweens in the process. Yellowberry began with one passionate girl, a mission to “build a product that didn’t exist” and now we are the brand girls want to grow up with.”

Soley Aloha
Is there anything more fun than bunches of colorful stickers to decorate your water bottles and other personal items? Thanks to our friends at Soley Aloha for providing stickers for this year’s campers! Visit their shop in Wailuku or check out their online store!
More about Soley Aloha: “Soley Aloha is a small, family-run company offering hats, logo-wear, home goods and fashion accessories, all designed to share and encourage an ‘Aloha lifestyle’. A love for the ocean and land, patience, kindness, respect for one another… All in all, joyfully sharing life is what we are all about! Let’s all utilize this beautiful day that we are blessed to have and create a better world.”

Aloha Maui Photo Bus
Is there anything that teen girls love more than a photo booth? When it’s combined with a vintage VW bus and filled with ‘surfer girl’ props, it’ll create a night (and hundreds of photos) to treasure! Thanks to our friends at Aloha Maui Photo Bus for bringing Chloe (the bus) down to camp!
More about Aloha Maui Photo Bus: “Meet Chloe, Maui’s most charming photo booth on wheels! She is a 1971 VW bus that has been lovingly converted into a photo booth, used to create memories of weddings, parties or any special event. Rent Chloe for your event today!”
