Billabong Pro Maui 2009 Highlights

Hope you enjoy this video I put together of the 2009 Billabong Pro Trials.   It was an exciting year, with the “swell of the century” rumblin’ through the islands that week.  The waves were pumping 10-12ft for the trials – compared to last years skunk (the finals were actually held at Hookipa in shoulder high windchop)!

Major props to the pro women charging that day, very impressive surfing!  I think the video highlights some of their big barrels and powerful snaps.
